About the Artists:

A born performer, Ruby James runs hot. On stage, Ruby is electric- like all the forces of nature burn inside her and the crowd lights up. Her music ranges from poetic and heartfelt to soulful boot-stomping rock ‘n’ roll. She wants to move people and she wants them to move.

It’s been 10 years since the release of her Sexton brothers produced album “Happy Now” after which she spent 6 years fronting 10 piece soul, sass and brass outfit and Midwestern sensation Wifee and the Huzz Band, who were in heavy rotation and a favorite on Little Steven’s Underground Garage.

Now, Ruby’s revival is growing from the roots she planted in her days collaborating with Will and Charlie Sexton, pAt mAcdonald, Rosie Flores, and James Hall, as well as her time in Nashville and Austin, and her collaborations in the Steel Bridge Songfest in Door County, WI.

Miss Ruby and her Red Hot Honey are sure to deliver an intense kick that harmonizes with her natural sweetness.

Songstress Courtney Santana hails from Springfield Massachusetts, but found her home in Austin, Texas where she has been in the music industry, live music, theater, and dance for many years.

Courtney has been a featured vocalist on over 28 albums and she has performed with and alongside Hootie and the Blowfish (MAM), Patrice Pike, Nakia, Chanel Haynes, Robert Randolph, The Cordovas, Steve Poltz, ShinyRibs, Mark Bryan, Jessie Dayton, Robert Kraft, Wendy Colonna, Kirk Whalum, Kyle Turner, Salt N Pepa, Musiq Soulchild, and more. Courtney is excited to release her first full length album in Summer 2024 and she has toured internationally and has loyal audiences in the UK, Portugal, Italy, and Mexico!

Her musical portfolio extends to her community work as she supports Austin’s Live Music and Arts community through serving on the boards of the SIMS Foundation, The Mexi-Arte Museum, and the Austin Texas Musicians Group!

Michael Murphy is a Singer/Songwriter/Producer and Multi-Instrumentalist from Neenah, Wisconsin. Based in the Fox Cities, Murphy has been playing with various bands since he was 11, playing for over ten years with his siblings Jack and David in the band ‘Murphy’s Law.’ He has played alongside artists such as Emmy Winner Mark Wood, WAMI-award-winning drummer Mike Underwood, the HD-Horns, Guitarist Steve Peplin, Drummer Wayne Salzmann II, Singer/Songwriter Claire Kelly, and many other great musicians.

After a decade of playing as a side man and co-leader, Murphy released his debut solo project, “Indigo Jones.” Drawing from many of his musical influences, such as David Bowie, The Beatles, Elton John, Leon Russell, Blind Faith, and the Band, just to name a few. The project was influenced by Murphy’s time living in London, England, and the music and cultural scene overseas. Indigo Jones is a concept album that tells the story of love and loss, heaven and hell, and old and young through the lens of a midnight-riding anti-hero. Murphy wrote and produced the project, featuring Drummer Wayne Salzmann II, Bassist Ryan Erdmann, and his brother Jack Murphy on keyboards. The album was released in May 2023. With a re-master now planned for Nov. 8th, 2024.
