William Pope
Will brings 30 years of guitar playing experience and a deep love for jazz, classical, and fingerstyle folk to his teaching. With a background in music retail leadership and a reputation for top-tier customer service, Will knows how to connect with people and help them find the right tools—and the right sound.
His lessons are fully personalized to match each student’s goals, interests, and learning style. Whether you’re picking up the guitar for the first time or looking to elevate your technique, theory, or musical expression, Will will meet you where you are and help you grow. His goal? To get you playing actual music as quickly as possible—and having fun doing it.
Outside of teaching, Will is a lifelong learner and creative spirit. He’s passionate about guitar repair, recording, and music gear. He also translated Roza’s Diary, the first English edition of a female soldier’s WWII combat diary and letters. When he’s not teaching or playing, you’ll find him biking and hiking around Door County or studying Cold War history.
