Allison Zopel
Hello! My name is Allison, and I have been composing, performing and teaching music for over 20 years. Growing up with my father as a symphony director and music teacher in Wausau, I have a background in nearly every instrument, with a focus on piano, cello, harmonium, and jazz vocals.
I teach beginner piano, cello, and jazz vocals. I have released two solo piano albums of original music, “Music from Within” and “Seasons”, and a Meditational Kirtan album “Om Shanti”, which can be found at: AllisonZopel.bandcamp.com
I have experience playing cello in the UNCA symphony in Asheville, NC, and most recently taught the cello strings program at the Waldorf Elementary School in Charleston, SC.
I have experience singing jazz professionally for 20 years in The Zopel Jazz Quartet.
I also teach and perform harmonium and kirtan music, which is often performed in yoga studios.
