Jeanne Kuhns

Jeanne Kuhns is a singer, songwriter, and storyteller who believes deeply in the power of music to connect, heal, and inspire. For the past 18 years, she has shared her songs and stories with audiences in settings ranging from coffee shops and house concerts to women’s groups, art openings, auditoriums, and collaborative performances with Small Forest, George Sawyn, Buckets of Rain Band, and the Wise Women Shows. With a voice both nuanced and expressive, Jeanne weaves together impressions of the natural world, reflections on human resilience, and the fragile beauty of life, offering listeners an experience that is at once intimate and universal.

In her Explorations in Songwriting Workshop/Class, Jeanne brings her love of singing and writing to a collaborative space where participants are encouraged to reflect on the messy, brilliant, and hopeful aspects of the world around them. Drawing on her years as a nurse and her belief in music as medicine, she fosters a welcoming environment where stories, insights, and songs can be shared in community. Jeanne’s passion for connection—through words, melody, and shared experience—shines in everything she does, inviting others to find their own voice and discover the joy of songwriting.
