A Benefit for a Louder Tomorrow—about the Festival
No Stage Required is loud on purpose.
It’s a Door County punk and metal festival built on the idea that music doesn’t need permission—and neither do the people who make it.
Held at MUSE—a venue and community music school on the corner of Jefferson Street and 3rd Avenue in Sturgeon Bay—this three-day event brings loud, raw, no-frills music directly into the space where the next generation is learning how to play, create, and be heard. There’s no barrier between stage and crowd, no hierarchy—just bands, volume, and community in its most honest form.
This festival is a benefit for the students of MUSE. Every dollar raised goes back into the school to support the kids who are learning, practicing, failing, and trying again—who walk through those doors every week with guitars, drumsticks, questions, and big ideas. The same kind of space that gave so many of us an outlet is still doing that work right here, right now.
No Stage Required exists to connect the noise we love with the future it helps build. If music ever gave you a place to stand when nothing else did, this is how you give that back.
Show up loud. Support the kids. Prove that noise can build something—be part of something that’s loud for all the right reasons.
