Liisa Murray, MS, MT-BC, LCAT is a nationally board certified music therapist, educator and accessibility expert. Liisa has advanced training in ways to help students of all ages and abilities access music-making and music learning. She has provided music therapy groups in special education preschools, elementary schools, mental health clinics and nursing homes.

Whether it is facilitating an early childhood music group with toddlers for speech development, or a songwriting group for teenagers’ emotional expression, Liisa’s work is finding ways to build on clients’ strengths to connect them to their own music making abilities and resilience.
Liisa has received advanced training in trauma and the arts from Kint Institute, and presented at national and regional conferences. Her work in music therapy has been featured in the New York Times, Huffington Post, and Aging Today.
